Natural pork chops in an air fryer topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 4 natural boneless pork loin cutlets (weighing 170 g each, 2.5 cm thick), trim off excess fat
- 1/3 cup premium flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 4 cups cornflakes, crushed (about 1 cup)
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika
- Special equipment: air grill with a capacity of 3.5 liters.
Preparation:
- Create a breading area by placing three shallow bowls side by side. Add flour to one bowl. In another, beat the eggs with Dijon mustard, 2 teaspoons of water, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt. In a third bowl, combine the cornflakes with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Preheat a 3.5-liter air fryer to 180°C.
- Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and black pepper. Dredge them one at a time in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip them in egg, letting the excess drip back in, and then dredge them in the cornflake mixture. Transfer to a large platter. Repeat with the remaining pork chops.
- Fry the pork in the air fryer in two batches until cooked through, about 10 minutes each.
