Chocolate fondue with fruits topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 200 g of high-quality semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1.5 tsp. grated orange zest
- 0.5 tsp. instant coffee granules
- 2 tbsp orange liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier)
- For serving: pound cake, donuts, long-stemmed strawberries, bananas or pretzels
Preparation:
- Chop the chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Add the cream, zest, coffee, and orange liqueur and stir constantly until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Transfer the chocolate mixture to a fondue pot and serve hot with pound cake, donuts, strawberries, bananas, or pretzels.
