Ingredients:
- 1 sirloin steak weighing 450 g, approximately 2.5 cm thick.
- 60 g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
- 1 small clove garlic, finely grated
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- Special equipment: air grill with a capacity of 3.5 liters.
Preparation:
- Let the steak sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Preheat a 3.5-liter air fryer to 200°C. Sprinkle the steak on both sides with a generous pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Place the steak in the center of the air fryer and cook until desired doneness, about 10 minutes for medium, 12 minutes for medium, and 14 minutes for well done. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the butter, parsley, chives, garlic, and crushed red pepper in a small bowl. Slice the steak across the grain into 0.5 cm thick slices. Top with the garlic-herb butter.
