Spicy salmon with caramel crust

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, weighing 200 g each.
  • 0.5 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon on a baking sheet. Spread the sugar mixture evenly over the top.
  3. Bake for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pieces and desired doneness.
