Waffle sandwich with berries, banana and chocolate-hazelnut spread

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp. chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 2 tbsp. whipped cream cheese
  • 2 frozen waffles, not soured milk (or Belgian)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large strawberries, cut into pieces
  • Half a small banana, peeled and cut into about 6 lengthwise wedges

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon and set aside. In another small bowl, combine the chocolate-hazelnut spread and cream cheese until smooth; set aside.
  2. Toast the waffles until golden brown. Brush both sides of each waffle with melted butter and sprinkle both sides with cinnamon sugar.
  3. Spread both halves of the waffle evenly with the chocolate-raw spread. Arrange the strawberries and bananas on one waffle and top with the second waffle.
