Boulevardier Cocktail with Grilled Orange topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 6 orange slices
- 120 ml bourbon
- 120 ml vermouth, such as Carpano Antica
- 120 ml Campari
Preparation:
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly spray the grill grates with cooking spray. If using a grill pan, preheat it over medium heat and, once hot, lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Place the orange slices on a grill rack or grill pan. Cook, turning once, until grill marks appear on both sides, about 2 minutes per side. Remove the orange from the heat and cut into 2 slices. Set aside.
- Combine bourbon, vermouth, Campari, and sliced roasted orange in a shaker with ice and shake well. Fill the glasses halfway with ice and shake until chilled, about 30 seconds. Strain the cocktail into glasses and garnish each with a roasted orange slice.
