Warm chocolate sauce for fondue

Ingredients:

  • 220 g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 220 g semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 and 1/3 cups heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, diced
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • Diced pound cake, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Combine all the chocolate, heavy cream, butter, and vanilla in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir. Continue heating in 30-second intervals, stirring, until the chocolate is melted. Stir until the sauce is smooth and glossy.
  2. Pour into a fondue pan and keep warm over low heat. Serve with pound cake.
