Butter with maple syrup and cinnamon

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 220 g of butter at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the maple syrup, add crushed red pepper and cinnamon, and cook for 5 minutes to allow the spices to bloom. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Place the butter in a bowl. Add the maple syrup mixture and vanilla and mix until smooth. Spread the spiced butter on the toast.
