Sangria with tequila topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced
- 2 limes, thinly sliced
- 1 Navelin orange, halved and thinly sliced
- 12 large fresh mint leaves, torn
- 2/3 tbsp. agave syrup
- 0.5 cups silver tequila
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 bottle of white wine, chilled, such as Sauvignon Blanc
- 2 cups lemon-lime soda, chilled
Preparation:
- Place the chopped fruit and mint in a large pitcher and mash them with a muddler.
- Add agave syrup, tequila, and lime juice. Stir, then add white wine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours and up to 24 hours.
- To serve, pour the sangria into 8 glasses. Top each with about 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda and serve immediately.
