Cabbage salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of thinly shredded white cabbage
  • 2 finely chopped carrots
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. grated onion
  • 2 tbsp. sugar, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp mustard powder
  • 2 tsp celery salt
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, onion, sugar, vinegar, mustard, celery salt, salt, and pepper and add to the cabbage mixture. Mix well and taste for seasoning. Add more salt, pepper, or sugar if desired.
