Spicy Roasted Chickpeas topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 cans (425 g) chickpeas
- 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 1 tsp Spanish smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 205°C.
Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Pat them dry by rolling them in a kitchen towel. In a large bowl, combine the oil, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt. Add the chickpeas and mix well.
- Transfer the chickpeas to a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer. Bake until golden and crisp, 25-35 minutes, shaking the baking sheet after 15 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and transfer the chickpeas to a serving bowl.
