Sweet Tea Collins Cocktail

Ingredients:

    For the tea syrup:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 bag of black tea

    For one serving of cocktail:

  • 70 ml. bourbon
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp tea syrup
  • Carbonated water
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves, for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Prepare tea syrup: Combine water, honey, and fresh mint in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add the tea bag, cover, and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain the syrup through a sieve and cool.
  2. Prepare a cocktail: Fill a shaker with ice, pour in the bourbon, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of tea syrup. Then shake the shaker and strain the cocktail into a glass. Add ice and top with sparkling water. Garnish the cocktail with a lemon wedge and mint leaves.
