Rice with sesame seeds and green onions

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups rice, rinsed in several waters
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp nut or vegetable oil
  • 4 green onions, cut into rings
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation:

  1. Bring a saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add the rice and cook for the time indicated on the package. Drain the rice in a sieve and rinse under running water.
  2. Heat the nut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sesame seeds and cook, stirring, until golden brown, 4-5 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the rice, green onions, sugar, and salt.
