Blueberry Crisp

Ingredients:

    Filling

  • 6 cups blueberries, rinsed with water and slightly dried
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Ice cream for topping

    Streusel

  • 1/2 cup premium flour
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 60 g butter at room temperature, cut into cubes

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix together blueberries, cornstarch, sugar and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown and white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pecans. Add the butter and mix, squeezing the mixture between your palms. Mix until crumbly.
  4. Place the blueberries in a 2-quart baking dish. Spread the crumbs evenly over the top. Bake the blueberry crisp for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream and whipped cream.
