Avocado sauce "Guacamole"

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 3 tbsp finely diced red onion
  • A few tablespoons of canola oil, optional
  • 3 ripe Hass avocados, peeled, pitted and diced
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 or 2 jalapeño peppers, finely diced

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, mash the cilantro, onion, canola oil (if using), avocado, lime juice, and jalapeño with a fork. The guacamole should have a chunky texture, with chunks of vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.
