Green pizza with ham and fried eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1 package 600g of chilled pizza dough, room temperature
  • 1 ball of mozzarella (220 gr.)
  • 1 ham steak (200 g)
  • 5 tbsp pesto
  • 4 large eggs
  • Grated Parmesan, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 230°C. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into 4 pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Gently stretch each dough ball into a 20 cm (8 in) circle, thicker at the edges. Transfer to prepared baking sheets. Prick each circle in the center with a fork. Bake until lightly golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cut the mozzarella into thin slices and the ham into cubes.
  4. Spread 2 tablespoons pesto on the pizza crusts, leaving a 1/2-inch border; top with mozzarella and scatter with prosciutto. Crack 1 egg onto each pizza and return to the oven. Bake until the crust is golden brown and the egg whites are set but the yolks are still runny, 12 to 14 minutes. Top with the remaining 3 tablespoons. pesto and sprinkle with Parmesan.
