Steamed okra

Ingredients:

  • 450 gr. okra fruit medium size
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the okra thoroughly with cold water. Place it in a steamer bowl, then set the bowl over a pan of simmering water, filling it to a depth of 2.5-5 cm.
  2. Cover and cook until the okra is tender but still crisp, about 5 minutes. Toss the okra with butter and salt. Serve warm.
