Meat loaf with onion marmalade

Ingredients:

  • 650 g ready ground beef with beer (from Sandra Lee's Burgers recipe)
  • 1/3 cup remaining red onion jam (from Sandra Lee's Burgers recipe)
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp. chopped garlic
  • 1/4 cup ketchup, divided

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat with all the ingredients except 2 tablespoons of ketchup. Form the mixture into loaves in a baking dish.
  2. Brush the top and sides of the "bread" with the remaining ketchup. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 1 hour. Transfer to a serving platter and serve.
