Red Cabbage Salad with Honey-Citrus Dressing topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1/2 head red cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 small red onion, cut into several pieces
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh leaves basilica
- 2 cloves garlic, cut into pieces
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation:
- Place red cabbage in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper.
Using a food processor, blend the remaining ingredients until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the mixture to the cabbage.
Let stand in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
