Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- A pinch of salt
- 240 ml of sparkling water
- Pecans, for garnish
Preparation:
- In a saucepan, combine 2.5 cups of water, pecans, maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and simmer until the mixture reduces to 3/4 cup, about 40 minutes. Strain and cool completely.
- Combine 3 tablespoons of syrup and sparkling water in a glass. Garnish with pecans.
