Creamy burger with onions topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 450 g of ground beef
- 200 g butter, room temperature
- 2 onions, chopped
- 6 soft hamburger buns, cut into two parts
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation:
- Prepare the filling: Lightly fry the onion in 2 tablespoons (30 g) of butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour in 1/3 cup of water, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the fried onion to a separate bowl and scrape off any excess fat from the pan.
- Prepare hamburger patties: Divide the ground beef into 6 portions, roll into balls, then form into thin patties. Place the patties in a separate hot frying pan, press down with a spatula, and season with salt and pepper. Fry until cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.
- Prepare the hamburgers: Meanwhile, fry the buns in butter in a frying pan on the inside and place them on a plate. Place the patties on the bottom halves of the buns and sprinkle with fried onions. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
- Before serving, cut the burgers in half and drizzle with warm butter, serve hot.
