Pumpkin bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 450 gr. pumpkin puree
  • 3.5 cups premium wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 2/3 cup water

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and flour two 23 x 13 cm muffin tins. Combine sugar and butter. Stir in eggs and pumpkin puree. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Whisk the dry ingredients and water into the wet mixture.
  2. Divide the batter between the two pans. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let rest for 10 minutes. Remove the pumpkin bread from the pans and let cool.
