Ingredients:
Quesadilla
- 60 g of cream cheese as a spread
- 8 tortillas
- 250 g Brie cheese, cut into thin strips
- 1 thinly sliced apple
Strawberry Apple Dipping Sauce
- 250 g of strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
Preparation:
- Preheat a grill pan over medium heat. Grease it with oil or nonstick cooking spray before cooking.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly among 4 tortillas. Then evenly distribute the Brie strips. Place apple slices on top of the cheese. Top with the remaining tortillas to make 4 quesadillas.
- Grill each quesadilla for 3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Use a spatula to flip the tortilla. Once the quesadilla is browned on both sides, remove from heat and let cool for about 2 minutes before slicing.
- Cut each quesadilla into 6 pieces and serve warm. Serve with applesauce, peel back the tortilla, and spoon the sauce into the filling.
