Lasagna with ground beef

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of lasagna
  • 700 g lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp. l. dried oregano
  • 2 cans (420 g each) of canned tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. cottage cheese with fine grain
  • 2 tbsp. grated mozzarella cheese

Preparation:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add salt. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain and arrange the noodles in a baking dish.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, adding the chopped onion, garlic, and oregano. When the meat is browned, drain the fat and add the tomato sauce and vinegar. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 175°C.

    Grease a baking dish with oil. Arrange the lasagna noodles in a single layer on the bottom of the dish. Top with a layer of cottage cheese, then a layer of meat sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella, and repeat the layers for a total of three. Finish with a layer of cheese and bake for 30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly. Remove the dish from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, slice the lasagna, and serve.
